Working at ‘Home Sweet Home Nursing’ is an experience I’ll hold with me forever. I adored the time spent with the patients in our care as I ventured out into their homes and local community settings. There is something very special about caring for someone inside the comfort of their own home that allows a unique therapeutic bond to form and a person-centred framework to care that goes beyond the capabilities of the clinical setting.
As a full time uni student, I received endless support from ‘Home Sweet Home Nursing’ that allowed for flexibility in working hours and both personal and professional guidance from Marella and Karen through means of debriefing and counselling. ‘Home Sweet Home Nursing’ is a small company with a big heart that makes you feel a part of a family.
